Expansion of consciousness, the awakening of the nature of things. ZEN means "meditation", KENSHO is a Japanese word that refers to when the practitioner of Zen can realize their true nature.
The Kensho is akin to awake, with a less profound experience that Satori (enlightenment), is like opening a door giving access to something great that you can not describe in words. The Kensho (such as Satori) occurs spontaneously, that is, you should not practice Zen with the goal of having a Kensho, but anytime it happens, there’s nothing, and you realize the nature of their budidade.
